Finding peace after abortion

If you’ve had an abortion, you may be carrying more than you expected. Some women feel relief, while others feel grief, regret, confusion, or even numbness. Sometimes those emotions don’t come until much later. No matter what you’re feeling—you are not alone. At Sav-A-Life Women's Resource Center Escambia County, we are here for you with compassion, understanding, and hope.

Your feelings are valid

Every woman’s experience is different, and all feelings are valid. You might be experiencing sadness or grief, anxiety or depression, guilt or regret, anger, or even emotional numbness. These feelings can surface days, months, or even years later. Whatever you’re feeling—it matters. We understand the complexity of these emotions and are here to listen without judgment.

You don’t have to carry this alone anymore. We offer a safe place for you to begin healing at your own pace. Our compassionate support includes one-on-one confidential discussions with someone who will truly listen and care. We are dedicated to providing a non-judgmental environment where you can explore your feelings and find understanding.
